With graduations just around the corner it was only fitting to give you guys the 411 for graduation parties! I absolutely adore designing grad parties, it’s one of my most favorite kinds of events to plan. (Aside from weddings of course!) I get to dig deep, and really personalize each grad party to the client’s taste. There are so many fun and quirky things to add to make your event personal.
Last year my sister and best friend graduated, so I decided to add some fun DIY projects for the dinner party. This included little grad caps, and edible diplomas like the one’s pictured above. Aside from booking venues, attending meetings, and coordinating my job also entails designing. While I may or may not be the main designer of the event I certainly like to show my clients samples of what can be done for their event.
I find it so fun to orchestrate these types of parties because there is so much you can do because the ideas are infinite. You can have picture boards, that have polaroids of the graduate throughout their school career, and maybe a grad cap shaped cake. It’s so fun to have your guests apart of the celebration as well where they can give the graduate little notes of advice in a mason jar. So here’s a massive congratulations to the Class of 2015. I’d like to end this post letting you know that absolutely nothing is impossible, and if you can dream it then you can most certainly achieve it. We’ll see you next time!
