Can we talk major excitement here?! You get to be your BFF’s Maid of Honor! You spent countless nights sleeping over at your bestie’s house talking about this particular moment and it’s finally here! You swore you’d kill her if she picked out the ugliest dress, but you also promised to be right by her side through it all, as you always have been.

Nailing Down The Deets’:

So we’re here to give you the 101 on how to be the best maid of honor you can be! We know it can be stressful, but here’s a little breakdown to help you out! The first thing we recommend is scheduling everything out. Talk to the bride-to-be about every little detail and work in your schedule too. This will make her feel like you are trying your very best to be apart of her special day, but she’ll also be aware of your busy schedule at the same time. Help establish a budget with the bride-to-be so she knows your financial situation and you can both be on the same page when planning out the bridal shower, bachelorette party, and any travel if necessary.

If You Can Dream It:

Dream boards are everything and they are so festive and fun! Help your bestie create one so you both can come up with fun ideas for the wedding. This will give you a pretty broad idea on what she’s envisioning for her wedding, and you can provide her with concepts and designs to bring her dream to life. Hence, the dream board!

The Day Of:

Wedding bells are ringing! The day of the wedding is here and your bride is experiencing jitters and butterflies, the last thing she wants is to stress about the little details. This is where you come in to play and work out the kinks! It’s your job to make sure everything runs smoothly, but don’t forget this is a big day for you too. So make sure you have fun and enjoy the day with your best girls!
